Busy Week

Phew, the week is just about wrapping up at the time of writing. It’s been a busy week for me for sure. I’ve got a lot going on at work, I was really sick at the start of the week, I re-wrote a bunch of this site, and I’ve been working on ChompChomp too! I was going to try to have the tags bit of the site working before launching this but I forgot that this site is static, so it won’t be as simple as I thought lol.

Why the new site?

Well, in my last post I mentioned I wanted a site for a more general blog, so I could write not just about ChompChomp but whatever really. And I figured there’d be no better place than my own portfolio/personal website. I’ve been meaning to make one for a while but my grandiose plans kept leading to procrastination, so I just went and got this blog on it, and you’ll see me slowly adding more bits and pieces to it over time. Anything large might get a mention in one of these posts, but we’ll see.

What else will I write about?

Welp there’s a few things that I’m thinking of at the moment.

Other Tech Stuff

There’s a few topics I’ve had in mind for writing about besides just ChompChomp in the world of Tech.

Exploration

I’m a pretty curious guy and am a big fan of playing around with things to learn about it, especially tech things. Taking a look at more niche or just unfamiliar programming languages, trying out new tools, and just generally exploring the world of tech is something I really enjoy.

Tutorials

I think it’d be fun to write some tutorials for things I’m fairly confident in, or just found out how to do. There’s like an infinite number of tutorials out there though so anything I do make a tutorial on will hopefully be something that’s not covered as much, or something I can put my own spin on & go in depth on to make it worth everyone’s time.

Side Projects

There’s a few side projects I have that I think would be fun to share progress on as I go. Those are likely going to be a bit more rare as they’re taking a backseat right now to ChompChomp, this site, and other stuff I’m working on.

Non-Tech Stuff

Ok there’s one other thing I think I’d like to write about that’s not tech related. I play a ton of games, have been for as long as I can remember as well. An idea I’ve always been brewing on is to write reviews about smaller lesser-known games & what I think of it. It might be some time before this happens but I think it’d be fun to do, and if I did do this. It’d also go have a video review accompanying it which is it’s own can of worms.

ChompChomp this week?

Probably not haha, I haven’t had time to work on it unfortunately since I was working on this port & some other stuff. Instead I’ll make sure this coming week has even more progress.
